Information Professionals Company (INFO-PRO®) began as a spin-off company of Andrew Law Offices, S.C. and Guaranty Title Services, Inc. of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Andrew Law Offices, S.C. was founded in 1970 by Attorney Louis J. Andrew, Jr. After several years of real estate practice, Atty. Andrew founded Guaranty Title Services, Inc. (GTS), in the early 1980s in Fond du Lac, and now has offices throughout Wisconsin. In over twenty years of working with lending institutions through the title business, we learned that these businesses rely on accurate information in a variety of areas in order to effectively operate. In 1997, INFO-PRO® began performing Delinquency Tax Reporting for lenders. We now perform this service for banks and credit unions of all sizes in the Midwest and work with counties nationwide to provide these customers with detailed reports, depending on their individual reporting needs. Our years of experience in delinquency tax reporting have provided us with the skills to perform this service for virtually any lending institution in the United States.
In early 2004, INFO-PRO® acquired Mortgage Services Corp. Real Estate Tax Service, Ltd. (MSC) of Brookfield, Wisconsin and formed a new Wisconsin corporation for the combined business units, INFO-PRO® Mortgage Services Corporation. In addition, this acquisition allowed INFO-PRO® to begin performing a variety of Tax Escrow services for mortgage lenders.
In August 2008, INFO-PRO® acquired Property Research Data, Ltd., a Flood Hazard Determination Provider in Northbrook, Illinois, and moved the business to its Fond du Lac office. This acquisition provided INFO-PRO® another product to offer customers who had requested INFO-PRO® apply its approach to customer service to additional mortgage servicing products.
INFO-PRO® now is a leading provider of real estate tax and flood services, but still maintains its local ownership and unmatched service. While several customers are large multi-state lenders, we specialize in working with mid to large size community banks and credit unions who previously considered themselves too small to obtain this level of service and product quality at a reasonable price.
